Created as my final printmaking studio project, Dhaa reflects my creative journey and the challenges of developing ideas. The work explores the endless cycle of thinking and brainstorming, where inspiration feels just within reach, only to slip away before it can fully take shape.
HAVEN'T YOU FED YOUR KIDS?
An illustrated journey into daydreaming, told through the perspective of a girl sitting in a car. As music begins to play, the familiar surroundings give way to an imagined world where she encounters unusual creatures and moves freely between reality and fantasy.
Inspired by the expressive energy of street art, the artist's book uses silkscreen printing to explore imagination, escapism, and the worlds we create within our minds.

UMM AIN KAHAILA

Inspired by the visual culture of the 1970s, Umm Ain Kahaila captures an intimate moment of a young woman applying kohl. Drawing from vintage poster aesthetics and traditional Ruq'ah calligraphy, the composition reinterprets a familiar cultural ritual through a nostalgic visual language.
KTATEEB
Drypoint Printmaking
Ktateeb revisits a traditional form of education in Saudi Arabia, where children gathered to learn reading, writing, and Quran memorization.
Created using the drypoint technique, the work reflects on the cultural significance of these early learning spaces and their place in collective memory.
CHARACTERS
An exploration of character, personality, and visual exaggeration. Drawing from real-life references, this series transforms recognizable individuals into expressive illustrated figures while preserving the distinctive features that define them.
Through simplified forms and playful proportions, each character develops a unique visual identity.
CITY OF JARS
An imagined city where emotions take physical form. As feelings become overwhelming, its inhabitants transform into jars, turning an invisible emotional experience into a surreal visual narrative.
The work explores vulnerability, emotional pressure, and the delicate relationship between what we feel and what we reveal.
