2024
Developed as a collaboration between Misk and Jidar for Misk Art Week, this interactive mural invited visitors to become an active part of the artwork by leaving their own mark and engaging with the installation.
The mural was designed around a layered illustration concept, where each participant's contribution gradually transformed the composition. This innovative approach encouraged collective creativity and audience participation, creating an evolving visual experience that reflected the spirit of Misk Art Week and celebrated the connection between art and community.

where culture and technology meet
In collaboration with the Misk Art Institute and the Jidar team, a mural was created that combines Saudi culture with a futuristic vision filled with ambition and imagination. This mural embodied communication and creativity, as visitors to Misk Art Week shared their stories and spread their creativity upon it. Artist Shatha Al-Tumihi was among the artists responsible for this mural, which was vibrant with life throughout the entire Misk Art Week, adding a special charm and leaving a lasting impression on the visitors.

Shatha Altumihi an illustrator and printmaker interested in the human psyche. Examining the social tensions around communication, Althumihi employs her skills as an illustrator to visually capture the monsters and creatures that lurk within us.
Addressing the topic of "misunderstanding,' " Altumihi highlights the different monsters that humans morph into when trying to defend or clarify their points of view. These characters have been created using exaggerated illustration and
photography. By integrating these two mediums into one frame on large scale prints, the artist highlights the dynamic capabilities of silk-screening.
